Gate City Victory against Abingdon in Mountain 7 District Final

The home team the Gate City Blue Devils find victory of the Abingdon Falcons in the Mountain 7 District Men's Soccer Championship. Gate City scored two goals in both halves. The goal-scorers for Gate City were Sophomore Brody Sivert and Senior Walker Hillman. Gate City's two goals came from a good sequence in the Abingdon goalkeeper box and a penalty kick. With the loss the Abingdon Falcons move on to the Region 4D Quarter Finals where they will host the Hidden Valley Titans at home at the Meadows. Gate City moves on to the 2D Region quarterfinals where they will play the Virginia High School Bearcats at home.
